WB7, a Philippines-based online betting site, has extended sponsorship deals with the Dutch soccer club PSV Eindhoven by another three years. The company has been sponsoring the club since 2015.
The current deal includes branding on all official match balls, banners, goalkeepers’ jerseys, digital screens in stadiums and more advertising space around the stadium during games for the next three years. This extension helps keep their brand name active and increases exposure for their site as more and more people are becoming more interested in sports betting, particularly football games across Europe.
In addition to financial support, WB7 will also fund the training programs for players and staff members, as well as an additional social media campaign on Facebook and Twitter. There are also plans to launch a new “PSV Plus” service that offers exclusive benefits to members such as special discounts on merchandise, access to player interviews and post-match analysis by the manager.
This announcement follows recent speculation that PSV will be dropped by their sponsor after a few less-than-stellar performances last season.
“We are proud to continue our partnership with PSV, who remained steadfast despite the recent fallback,” said the Media Director of WB7, Kelvin Ho, in a statement. “It’s been an amazing journey so far, and we look forward to more success together.” With this renewed partnership, fans of PSV can enjoy watching their favourite players while having access to some great odds on future games.
This is not the first time that WB7 has sponsored an international sports team. It also sponsored West Ham United in England as well as one of Germany’s most famous football clubs — Hertha Berlin.
Alongside this announcement, they also launched their new website, which features live scores of all games happening around Europe as well as odds to win different tournaments such as UEFA Champions League or Copa Libertadores de America (CONMEBOL).
